Super Summer Success 2021 Mondays and Thursdays 11:00-1:00 June 21st - August 12th
We're so excited to share Schickler’s Super Summer Success theme -
Tails and Tales with you! This year, your child will be bringing home
some great books for summer reading the first week of June! These grade
level books are a mix of fiction and non-fiction. Included is a Think
Sheet, a Summer Reading Journal, colored pencils, and a postcard to
share their summer reading experience.
Your
whole family is also invited to join our book swaps every Monday and
Thursday from 11:00-1:00 (June 21st-August 12th). At swaps, students can
exchange books, do a craft, hear a story, and have a chance to win
amazing prizes, like a themed gift basket or Kindle Fire tablet. While
at book swaps, families can also bring home free meals from our Food
Service department for children under age 18. Additionally, we hope you
will join us for two extra special animal adventures on June 21st with
the Michigan Avian Experience and on August 12th for Nelson's Wildlife
Safari. Come see us, we'll make it worth your while!
Be
on the look-out for a parent registration form coming home soon. On
this form, you can sign up to attend book swaps, receive food, have
books mailed home to your child, and even borrow a Chromebook for the
summer. More information to come!
Looking forward to a wild summer of reading,
Your Schickler Family
