To All LCS Families --
First off, we appreciate your patience and feedback regarding the school lunch program here at LCS.
As you know, the state budget has not been set yet and school lunches are free only through Tuesday, September 30. That being said, Lapeer Community Schools is going to continue free lunch through Friday, October 3.
If there is still no state budget in place by October 3, free lunches will no longer be offered. Breakfast will continue to remain free for all students.
Lunch prices starting Monday, October 6, will be:
Elementary: $2.75
Rolland-Warner and Zemmer: $3.00
Lapeer High School: $3.25-$3.50
Center For Innovation: $3.25
LCISD: $2.75
Kids & Company and ECSE: $2.75
To prepare, we strongly encourage all families to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application as soon as possible using this link: https://lapeer.familyportal.cloud or by scanning the QR code.
We'll keep you updated as soon as a final decision is made by the state. Please know that our priority is ensuring every student has access to healthy meals each school day.
Please plan accordingly and consider pre-paying for meals if needed. Directions are below.
